Our Story

Based in South Australia, husband and wife team, Estee and Stu Austin have spent over forty years collectively working and immersing themselves in the realm of flowers, visual art, design, events and education. 

Austin Bloom was established twelve years ago, with humble beginnings as a little roadside stall selling simple posies in the Adelaide Hills town of Hahndorf. Soon after, they opened a quaint storefront in Balhannah where they established a daily flower boutique and online business. They ran floral workshops, created wedding flowers, and accepted contracts for large-scale event work. Over the years, they established a reputation for quality and experimental design. 

The dynamic couple recently launched their first print collection, three wreath canvas wall hangings. A product that was unique worldwide, portable, easy to install, durable and sustainable. Following the success of this launch they have created ‘The Abstract Collection’, not only have they re-imagined the wreath wall hangings, they have developed an extensive series of fine art prints.

Estee and Stu find themselves designing products that combine floristry, photography, industrial design, fine art, interior design and space making, always with their roots in their heritage which is imbued with flowers and beauty.
